The T-Series valves are of double offset geometry design. This provides a camming action eliminating excessive wear between the seat and disc sealing interface both during the opening and closing strokes, extending the sealing life of the valve. The shaft is of one piece construction with an anti blow-out feature external to the pressure boundary on the drive side conforming to API 609. No portion of the shaft can be ejected from the valve as a result of internal pressure. The C-Series valves are of concentric geometry design, developed for high integrity installations in all types of industry. The valve is bi-directional, giving consistently tight shut-off using the integral body liner which acts as the seal when the disc moves into the closed position. Maintenance for all resilient seated valves is quick and easy and can be carried out on site without the use of any special tools.
A Non-Firesafe and firesafe high performance butterfly valve, the T-Series double offset design valves are available in sizes range from 3" through 48". With ANSI 150 and 300 lbs rating, the shaft is of one piece construction. With its built in anti blow-out feature, these valves have a reduced diameter at the actuator end. If failure of the shaft-to-disc connection, or internal failure of the shaft occurs due to excessive torque, no portion of the shaft can be ejected from the valve as result of internal pressure.
